 COALITIONS

Tennesseans Against Genocide (TAG), a CRC-founded coalition, holds events in support of the people of Darfur

Our CRC-formed Nashville coalitions include:

Coalition on Education About Immigration (CEI) www.educationaboutimmigration.com

Tennesseans Against Genocide (TAG)   www.tennesseansagainstgenocide.org

Our CRC-sponsored Nashville Food Stamp Challenge resulted in the creation of a city-wide Poverty Symposium with more than 400 participants. Hundreds then joined follow-up action subcommittees covering issues such as employment, food security, child care and transportation. The resulting committee reports will form the basis for a set of guidelines for reducing poverty in Nashville that will be presented to the mayor.

We are a member of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, www.jewishpublicaffairs.org which serves as the representative voice of the organized Jewish community in addressing the mandate of the Jewish community relations field.
